Samanta also clarified that all decisions are being taken as per the instructions of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The final examinations of the state universities will be between 1 to 31 July. However, if the lockout situation persists, Uday Samanta said that a final decision would be taken at a meeting around 20 June. Schools and colleges are closed due to the lockdown in the backdrop of 'Corona'. The school children have already been admitted to the next class. But the sword was hanging on the college students.

उदय सामंत ने स्पष्ट किया कि केवल डिग्री के अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी। शेष वर्ष के सभी छात्रों को औसत अंक लेकर नई कक्षा में प्रवेश मिलेगा। हालांकि, असफल विषय को अगली परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करनी चाहिए। यदि आपको पहले कम अंक मिले हैं, तो आपको वैकल्पिक परीक्षा देने की भी अनुमति है। सामंत ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि सभी निर्णय विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) के निर्देशों के अनुसार लिए जा रहे हैं।
