कोरोना की वजह से विदेशों में फंसे भारतीयों की वतन वापसी के मिशन वंदे भारत का दूसरा फेज 16 मई से शुरू होगा। यह फेज सात दिन यानी 22 मई तक चलेगा। इस दौरान 31 देशों से 149 फ्लाइट्स आएंगी। सबसे ज्यादा 13 फ्लाइट अमेरिका से आएंगी। न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई ने सूत्रों के हवाले से ये जानकारी दी है। वंदे भारत मिशन का पहला फेज 7 मई को शुरू हुआ था।

वंदे भारत मिशन के तहत भारत लौट रहे लोगों को फ्लाइट का किराया और क्वारैंटाइन का खर्च खुद उठा रहे हैं। इस मिशन में बुजुर्गों, गर्भवती महिलाओं, छात्रों, बीमारों या फिर उन लोगों को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है जिनके घर में किसी की मौत हो गई है या फिर कोई गंभीर रूप से बीमार है।
